Cooking, like science, is a mix of art and technique. Some rules have to be abided by, but there’s still an amazing amount of space for creativity.

I’ve started this blog because I make weird recipes to work around dietary restrictions. I like to take staples of food my husband and I love, and tweak them to be lower in carbs/sugar/wheat/etc. Plus, my husband, Sean, hates avocados and as a raised Californian I feel the need to convince him otherwise…
